Welcome to Tomorrow

We believe that effective leaders don't simply seek "jobs"; they seek organizations with a compelling story, exceptional colleagues, and room for continued growth. As you scroll through this page, you will gain a better understanding of Moore Holdings'/Renewal by Andersen's narrative, where the company has been, and where it is going.

Head of People Operations

Moore Holdings (Renewal by Andersen)

Renewal by Andersen, the extremely high growth direct-to-consumer replacement window subsidiary organization of Andersen Corporation, has experienced explosive growth and maturation over the last decade as it has become the largest vertically integrated remodeling company in its category. In 2021, Renewal by Andersen generated well over $3 Billion in gross sales across its network of 100+ field locations throughout the United States and Canada. The construct of that vast network includes several independent Renewal by Andersen affiliate owners, who exclusively market, sell, install, and service Renewal by Andersen products under the signature Renewal by Andersen brand. The largest, and one of the longest standing Renewal by Andersen independent affiliates in the country, is Moore Holdings, which owns and operates 11 major Renewal by Andersen markets across the US and Canada generating over $700M in annual revenue and employing over 1,300 people.  Moore Holdings/Renewal by Andersen maintains a highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organizational structure whereby each individual market location is led by a highly seasoned President - a full P&L ownership role - along with several senior functional leaders reporting into the President.  Centrally supporting the entirety of those field-based teams is a small, entrepreneurial, highly experienced executive team based in New York City including the CEO, COO, CMO, CFO, and soon, a Head of People Operations.

A Foundation you can build on

Getting a sense of the foundation that has been built prior to your arrival offers a lens through which you can see where your career may go.

Renewal by Andersen

Renewal by Andersen is the full service, direct-to-consumer window replacement division of Andersen Corporation, North America's largest and most reputable window and door manufacturer and brand. Renewal is the fastest-growing division of Andersen Corporation, with 20%+ year-over-year growth over nearly the last decade.

History

Andersen Corporation was founded in 1903 along the Saint Croix River in Minnesota by Hans Andersen and his family. In the mid 1990's, having established itself as a top brand in its category, Andersen saw an opportunity to introduce a custom replacement window division. Renewal by Andersen was born of this decision over 25 years ago as the vertically integrated, full-service, direct-to-consumer “replacement window” division of Andersen and has since grown tremendously, driving major bottom-line performance and extensive innovation across Andersen's enterprise.  With interest in scaling quickly while not sacrificing brand excellence, Renewal intelligently developed a fully exclusive, independently-owned affiliate program.  David Moore, CEO of Moore Holdings, jumped into Renewal's affiliate program almost 18 years ago and now, owns and operates 11 major Renewal by Andersen markets employing over 1,300 people and generating over $700M in annual revenue.

Home Improvement

Renewal by Andersen, backed by one of the largest and most prominent voices in the greater building materials industry today, is now truly known as a benchmark in the overarching direct-to-consumer space across the US and into Canada given its increasingly innovative approach to, and major investments in, traditional, non-traditional, and digital marketing, its uncompromising devotion to creating unforgettable end-to-end Customer Experiences, and perhaps most importantly, its dedication to technology disruption. In an industry that is lacking in technological thought-leadership, Renewal is an absolute stand-out.

Scale

Renewal by Andersen is by far the largest full-service, vertically integrated remodeling company that exists in North America today. It drives nearly $4 Billion in gross sales across its 100+ branches in the US and into Canada. Most exciting is the fact that, while Renewal's top and bottom line performance is incredibly impressive, it is still relatively early in its evolution as an organization with immense marketshare and growth opportunities in front of it. Moore Holdings in particular is prepared for immense growth with a realistic aspiration to double in size, organically and inorganically, over the next 5 years.

A Day in the Life

As Moore Holdings has achieved relatively sizable scale, and maintains interest in continued major growth, the executive team seeks fresh perspective in the Head of People Operations role to establish and evolve a centrally led, strategic HR function.  Historically, operational HR tasks were handled by contributors or managers inside each individual market.  But as Moore Holdings approaches $1B in revenue and 2,000+ employees, the need to standardize the function has become a priority.  This Head of People Operations will align with 11 markets to drive consistency and standardization around strategic initiatives focused on Leadership/Talent Development, Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, Retention (Voice Of Teammate), and more.  Alongside leading through influence, this executive will also have the opportunity to slowly build out the central HR function as the company continues to grow.  The Moore Holdings team fully recognizes that to continue down a path of growth, they must focus on becoming the Employer Of Choice in every market they do business within - the next Head of People will be highly impactful in achieving that goal.

What You Bring to the Table

Entrepreneurial & Resourceful

Although Moore Holdings is relatively sizable, the central People Ops function is in growth mode and requires a seasoned, senior leader who can work across a broad area of accountability quickly and efficiently while building the function out over the longer term.

Leads Through Influence

Moore Holdings maintains a matrixed org structure.  The head of people operations will leverage a small direct reporting team, but will also lead many through dotted-line relationships, requiring the capability to inspire and motivate team members who do not fall directly under the role on the organizational chart.

Strategic Partner

The Moore Holdings' executive team is highly interested in a true partnership with a progressive and strategic People Operations function that drives the growth and success of the business for the long term, versus merely aligning with policies, compliance, and more tactical HR operations.

We believe this opportunity has the potential to be your next best thing. What do you think?
