The President and CEO role at Ispiri represents a senior executive leadership opportunity responsible for driving the company’s next phase of growth while maintaining its commitment to design excellence and customer experience. Reporting to ownership, the President will oversee day-to-day operations across design, construction, sales, and project delivery while scaling operational systems, strengthening team performance, and expanding market presence in the premium residential remodeling segment. This role is central to achieving Ispiri’s ambitious growth trajectory — scaling the business to $50M in the near term and positioning the company to exceed $100M over the next decade through strategic market expansion and the development of additional business units under the Ispiri umbrella. Backed by an ownership team led by the visionary founder Jason Fabio that is highly aligned and prepared to invest meaningfully in growth, this is not a maintenance role but an opportunity to build, scale, and lead a high-performing organization. The role requires a strategic and operational leader capable of balancing business performance with the high-touch service and design quality that define Ispiri’s brand.

History

Founded in the Twin Cities in 2007 by Jason Fabio, Ispiri was created to bring a more professional, integrated approach to residential remodeling. After transitioning from a career as an airline pilot, Fabio launched the company as a design-build firm that combined architectural design, interior design, and construction under one roof. Headquartered in Woodbury, the company initially focused on delivering full-service home renovation projects across the Twin Cities. Over time, Ispiri expanded its capabilities and footprint, including the opening of a flagship showroom in Edina in 2019. Today, the firm operates as an established luxury design-build remodeling company serving the broader Twin Cities market, specializing in kitchen, bath, and whole-home renovations.

Jason Fabio is the founder, CEO, and owner of Ispiri, a Twin Cities–based design-build firm he launched in 2007 and has grown into a highly respected brand known for luxury residential renovations and exceptional client experiences. What makes Jason’s story particularly compelling is that Ispiri was built entirely from the ground up—there was no family business, no inherited customer base, and no outside capital. Every aspect of the company has been shaped through his vision, work ethic, and deep commitment to quality and relationships.

Over nearly two decades, Jason has methodically built Ispiri into a premium, design-forward organization with a reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, and a truly integrated client experience. The business reflects his personal standards—high attention to detail, pride in execution, and an unwavering focus on how clients feel throughout the process. That philosophy has translated into consistent profitability, strong referral-driven growth, and a culture with unusually high employee retention and engagement.

Prior to founding Ispiri, Jason spent part of his career as a commercial airline pilot with Northwest Airlines. That experience continues to influence how he operates today—bringing a level of discipline, precision, and calm decision-making that is somewhat unique in a founder-led business. He combines that operational rigor with an entrepreneurial mindset, allowing him to both envision what the business could become and execute against it in a practical way.

Importantly, Jason is also highly self-aware as a leader. He recognizes both what has made the business successful to date and what will be required to take it to the next level. There are no family ties within the organization, and no expectation that the business remains founder-operated indefinitely. In fact, Jason has been very intentional about reaching this point—he is ready to transition away from day-to-day leadership and bring in a President and CEO who can take full ownership of running and scaling the company.

He is not looking to insert himself into the middle of the business or second-guess decisions. Rather, he sees his future role as more strategic and governance-oriented—supporting the next leader while giving them the autonomy and trust needed to truly lead. A Day in the Life

Ispiri is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial President and CEO to lead the company into its next phase of growth and organizational maturity. Over nearly two decades, Jason Fabio has built a highly respected, design-forward brand and profitable business in the Twin Cities, rooted in a premium, client-first experience. As Jason transitions away from day-to-day leadership into a governance/advisor capacity, the incoming President will assume full responsibility for guiding the organization forward—evolving the business from approximately $20M in revenue today to $50M in the near term, and ultimately toward a long-range vision exceeding $100M over time.

Importantly, this opportunity extends beyond the core remodeling business. Jason has begun to establish the foundation of a broader, diversified platform, with complementary revenue streams including Design & Decor, an emerging furniture e-commerce offering, early traction in commercial construction, expansion into the high-end “On the Lakes” market, and additional concepts such as Renew and landscaping. While several of these are still developing, they represent a thoughtful strategy to build a more resilient, multi-division organization. The incoming President will be responsible for optimizing and scaling this foundation—bringing greater structure, financial discipline, and strategic clarity across the platform. This includes prioritizing growth initiatives, integrating shared capabilities, and building a repeatable model for expansion across geographies and service lines.

The President will serve as the chief operating leader of the enterprise, overseeing strategy execution, P&L performance, organizational development, and operational excellence across a growing multi-division platform. Working closely with Jason Fabio in his evolving role as owner and strategic advisor, the President will lead a well-capitalized growth agenda supported by an ownership team that is fully committed — both strategically and financially — to investing in the people, infrastructure, and systems required to scale. Success in this role will require a balanced leader — someone who can preserve the company’s culture of client focus, craftsmanship, and relationship-driven business while introducing the processes, leadership depth, and operational discipline needed to expand a sophisticated, multi-division organization.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead the overall strategy and growth of Ispiri, scaling the business from ~$20M today toward $50M and ultimately $100M+ in revenue.
  • Translate the founder’s vision into a clear strategic roadmap including geographic expansion, new service lines, and operational scalability.
  • Drive disciplined execution across all divisions and business units.
  • Partner with ownership and advisors on long-term capital allocation, governance, and enterprise value creation.

P&L Ownership & Operational Performance:

  • Maintain full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance across all divisions.\
  • Implement systems to track key metrics including revenue growth, margins, project performance, and client experience.
  • Ensure the company maintains strong profitability while scaling.

Organizational Leadership & Culture:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the company’s leadership team including GMs, sales leaders, production managers, and functional heads.
  • Build a leadership pipeline and strengthen accountability across the organization.

  • Lead a platform model that includes multiple operating divisions and locations supported by centralized services.

Requirements

Leadership Experience:

  • Proven executive leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
  • Track record scaling a company from mid-market revenue levels toward nine-figure scale.
  • Experience leading multi-division or multi-location organizations.

Industry Background:

  • Experience in construction, home services, real estate development, or design-build environments preferred.
  • Candidates from adjacent industries with similar operational complexity may also be considered.
